US Senator talks about nuclear strikes when asked about possible US action against Russia

Senator Roger Wicker with a seat in the Senate Armed Services Committee, said that the US could enter a ground war with Russia in defense of Ukraine and didn’t rule out the use of nuclear military actions.

FOX: All right, what does military action mean Senator?

Senator: Well military action could mean that we stand off with our ships in the black sea, and we reigned destruction on Russian military capability. I would not rule out American troops on the ground, we don’t rule out, first use nuclear action.
